Amorgos Yoga retreat
– A hidden gem of the Aegean Sea and just 1.5 hours by boat from Santorini, Amorgos has long been popular among a more eclectic Greek and European audience, and in recent years it has also been attracting international yogis.
– This Amorgos yoga retreat will take place just a few steps from the sea and a white-sand Egialis beach, which is dotted with family-style hotels and guesthouses.
– We will start our days with yoga and a fresh breakfast prepared with locally grown ingredients.
– During the retreat, we will visit the famous Monastery of Hozoviotissa, tucked into the mountainside, and take a moment of silence on the steps leading up to it.
– This retreat is all about simple island living. We will take a hike from our hotel to the nearby villages of Tholaria and Langada and soak in the peaceful pace of everyday life.
– A sunset in the island’s small capital, Hora—dotted with tiny shops and restaurants—will be the perfect finishing touch to our Amorgian adventure.

EXPLORE AMORGOS: Travel Tips & Book Recommendations
Amorgos has no airport, which makes it a less touristy and more authentic destination. It is connected by daily boats from Santorini, Athens (Piraeus port), and Naxos. The island has two ports, with Katapola being the more frequently used one.
Before the retreat begins, I will inquire about the need for transfers. The transfer cost starts from 15 Euros from Katapola and 5 Euros from Aegialis.
See www.more.com for ferry connections.
