YOGA NIDRA

ULTIMATE RELAXATION FOR EVERYBODY

Yoga nidra or a yogic sleep is a great way to rejuvenate your body and mind. The typical practice takes 30 minutes. During the yoga nidra the students lie in a comfortable position on their mat and the yoga teacher is reading a script. Typical yoga nidra includes progressive muscle relaxation, visualisation and affirmation. The body and mind could be moving between awake state, level alpha (a mental state of relaxed awareness) and sleep.
